Studio of Historical Documentation of the city

The main task of the Historical Documentation Workshop of the City is to collect and share information and sources of the material connected with the history of Pulawy. The overall aim of this Workshop is to popularize our city's past, organizing exhibitions, historical lectures, patriotic festivals, scientific and historical publications and workshops. This Workshop is used by young adolescents, researchers, city's history lovers and people wishing to broaden their knowledge with information related to the history of Puławy. The workshop is public. It is free to use compilations on-site.

Municipality of Pulawy, District Authorities in Pulawy, Institute of National Remembrance Department in Lublin , Province Conservation Office in Lublin, Club of Pulawy’s Friends, Lublin Katyn Family Association.



Workshop is managed by Zbigniew Kiełb.

Classes are on Fridays from 15.30 to 17.00

Free admission with no enrollment.

The workshop takes place all year long except July and August.

Historical workshop organized  by the Historical Documentation Workshop of the City was initiated in 2010 and those who are interested in the history of Puławy take part in it. The aim of this workshop is to work with our region history lovers. Its purpose is to identify unrecognized images from the years 1945-1989, collect the information about urban transformations taking place and special events of the past in Puławy, and search for new historical material concerning the history of the city.
